Reply to the letter to the editor: Effectiveness of acupuncture on pregnancy success rates for women undergoing in?vitro fertilization: A randomized controlled trial

On behalf of my co-authors, I would like to a warm thank you to Dr. Yao and colleague for their thoughtful letter regarding our article entitled “Effectiveness Of Acupuncture On Pregnancy Suc- cess Rates For Women Undergoing In Vitro Fertilization: A Ran- domized Controlled Trial”. The authors of the letter correctly note that GV and CV acupuncture points are not bilateral. However, we wrote them as bilateral with other bilateral points like HT-7 or SP-6 [1]. We appreciate Dr. Yao and colleagues for their careful attention, and we apologize for our error. Dr. Yao and colleague also emphasized using of the last standard acupuncture nomencla- ture. We agree with them, however most of international acupunc- ture books and medical journals still use previous version. Although the best way is using the last version, we do not think it will reduce the understanding our trial's results.
