Transactions from the 69th Annual Meeting of the American Crystallographic Association: Data best practices—current state and future needs

This special collection on Data Best Practices represents a newformat for the Transactions of the American CrystallographicAssociation (ACA), which was formerly available through the ACAwebsite, but which will henceforth be published annually as a fullypeer-reviewed, open access issue of the journal Structural Dynamics.We present the proceedings of the 21 July 2019 TransactionsSymposium organized at the Annual Meeting of the ACA inCovington, KY by the Scientific Interest Group (SIG) on Best Practicesfor Data Analysis and Archiving. Data is an appropriate subject forthis new SIG, for it brings focus to a large community of scientists whodraw from a diversity of methods, but who share common interestsand concerns in the conduct of experimental science.
