Study on the Influence Law of Loading Rate on Soil Pressure Bearing Characteristics

摘要

The soil pressure bearing characteristics is used tocalculate the sinkage, running resistance, vibrationcharacteristic and traction characteristic when the vehicle travelon the soft road. The soil pressure-sinkage models take theBekker’s model as the representative used now are usually gotwith the low loading speed to the plate range from twocentimeters per second to five centimeters per second and lack ofresearch of soil pressure-sinkage characteristic under highloading speed. The paper studied the influence of high loadingspeed to the soil pressure-sinkage characteristic by plate sinkagetest combined the numerical simulation and physical experiment.The numerical simulation considered the soil rate dependentconstitutive model and inertial effect. The research results showthat the higher loading speed can increase the soilpressure-sinkage characteristic and this influence reflect on theincrease of soil deformation modulus. The pressure-sinkagemodel that considered the loading speed based with soil ratedependent coefficient ? on the Bekker’s model was built. Forthe general soil, the value of soil rate dependentcoefficient ? ranges from 0.07 to 0.18. The research conclusioncan provide reference to the calculation of sinkage when thevehicle travels on the soft road.
