Soft-bottom decapod and stomatopod crustaceans of Northern Cyprus coast

The first study on decapod and stomatopodcrustacean fauna of cyprus was carried outby Heller (1863). According to researchstudies, until recently156 species ofdecapods are recorded (47 Natantia, 12Macrura Reptantia, 24 Anomura, 73Brachyura) (Kocata? et al., 2001; Do?an etal., 2008; Christodoulou et al., 2009).
