Anterior segment optical coherence tomography-guided management of traumatic iris cyst

A13-year-old boy presented to our hospitalwith a diminution of vision in thelefteyefor 2 monthsafter having blunt trauma with acricket ball.The patient was having best-corrected visualacuity (BCVA) 20/320 with normalintraocular pressure. Slit-lamp examination showed iriscystcontaining serous fluid in supero-temporal quadrantextending to the pupillary area[Figure 1]aand [Figure 1]b. Anterior margin ofiriscyst waswell-depicted on anterior segment opticalcoherencetomography (AS-OCT).[1],[2],[3] Drainage offluid was donefromthe most prominent partofthecyst with help of 30Gneedleattached to 1 ccsyringeentered through side portmadeat 8 o clock position.[4] Postoperative BCVAwas20/20 and intraocular pressure was normal.
