Life sketch of Prof. Emeritus M. Nabi Alam Khan

Professor Emeritus M. Nabi Alam Khas n was born on 1st May, 1939. His father’s name was Noor Khan. He was graduated from Rajshahi Medical College in 1964. Later he worked there up to March, 1967. From 1964 to 1973, he had his post graduate training in general surgery and worked as registrar of surgery in Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He achieved his FCPS from Pakistan College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1971. From 1973 to 1980 he worked as Cardio-Thoracic Surgical Registrar at the University, Department of Cardio-Thoracic surgery, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, York Hill Sick Children Hospital, Mearnskirk Hospital and Mairmres Hospital Glasgow, Scotland, UK. Later on he had has training in the field of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery in UK, Japan and USA.
