Fidelity International's new water and waste fund grows to $1.2bn in 13 months

Fidelity International's fledgling water and waste fund has surpassed all expectations by growing from a $20 million pot of seed capital at launch in November 2018 to close out 2019 with assets under management of $1.23 billion. The fund - managed by sector veteran Bertrand Lecourt - counts water staples American Water, Aqua America and Severn Trent among its top ten holdings, alongside established solid waste signatures including Waste Management, Clean Harbors and Republic Services.
