Innovyze eyes Al growth after Emagin deal

Water software company Innovyze acquired Canadian start-up Emagin last month in a bid to scale up the adoption of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions in the global water sector. Innovyze was carved out of Stantec by private equity firm EQT in 2017, and was simultaneously merged with another EQT-backed water infrastructure modelling company, XP Solutions (which had itself been spun out of engineering firm Card-no). Innovyze has since achieved tremendous growth as a stand-alone company.
