Thearticleisfocusedonimpactevaluationofcontrolledinnerstructureofproductiontoolsandnewcoolingmethodonregulationofthermalprocessesforinjectionmouldingtechnology.ThemouldinsertswithporousstructurewerecooledbymeansofliquidCO2whichisveryprogressivecoolingmethodandenablesveryfastandintensiveheattransferamongtheplasticproduct,theproductiontoolandcoolingmedium.Theinsertswerecreatedusingrapidprototypetechnology(DLSM)andtheyhadabi-componentstructureconsistingofthincompactsurfacelayeranddefinedporousinnerstructureofopencellcharacterwhereliquidCO2wasflowingthrough.ThisanalyseincludestheevaluationofcoolingefficiencyfordifferentinnerstructuresanddifferenttimeprofilesfordosingofliquidCO2intotheporousstructure.ThethermalprocessesweremonitoredusingthermocouplesandIRthermalanalyseofproductsurfaceandexperimentaldevice.Intensiveheatremovalinfluencedalsothefinalstructureandtheshapeanddimensionalaccuracyofthemouldedpartsthatweremadeofsemi-crystallinepolymer.TherangeoffinalimpactsofusingintensivecoolingmethodontheplasticpartswasdefinedbyDSCanddimensionalanalyses...
