Is Obesity a Concern in Breast Cancer?

Introduction: Breast cancer is one of the commonest cancersin women in India. The risk factors also include modifable onessuch as obesity. Obesity has been shown to increase the risk ofdeveloping breast cancer and is also associated with advancedstage of disease at presentation. There is not enough evidenceto show that obesity increases the recurrence rate of breastcancer in Indian patients.
