Quantitative Hemadsorption, a New Assay Technique

A modification of the hemadsorption-inhibition method for measuring serum neutralizing antibodies to appropriate viruses is described. The extent of hemadsorption is measured indirectly on a spectrophotometer. The method described is sensitive and gives results which are reproducible and are obtained in 20 to 24 hr.
