ABSTRACT In this paper, a new approach for the automatic detection and segmentation of exudates in color fundus images of the Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is proposed. DR is a diabetic disease which leads to blindness. The damage of retina blood vessels is the main reason for diabetic retinopathy.
