ABSTRACT Pluchea dioscorid is a common shrub along the banks of the Nile and islands, and also a pioneer of the moist rocky habitats. P. dioscoridis is one of the plants used for several remedies. The present study was undertaken to analyze and identify active volatile compounds of Egyptian P.dioscoridis essential oil.
