ABSTRACT Dementia is one of the age related mental problem and characteristic symptoms of various neurodegenerative disorder including Alzheimer's disease. Stressful conditions are often associated with loss of memory and other cognitive functions. Various drugs like diazepam, alcohol, barbiturates disrupt learning and memory. Traditionally herbal drugs have been used to enhance cognitive function. Present work was undertaken to assess the potential of dried seed kernels of Ceasalpinia crista e.
