ABSTRACT A validated method for the determination of Sitagliptin and Pioglitazone has been developed by using reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography and UV spectrophotometry in pharmaceutical dosage forms. Spectrophotometric determination was carried out at an absorption maximum of 267 nm for sitagliptin and 225nm for pioglitazone using methanol. The linearity over the concentration range of 20-60 g/ml for sitagliptin and 6-14 g/ml for pioglitazone with correlation coefficient 0.9.
