Prevalence of HIV and syphilis and social behavior characteristics of native populations in three geographical areas of Paraguay - 2011

Background: The indigenous population presents cultural, socioeconomic characteristics that increases its vulnerability to sexually transmitted infections, like syphilis and HIV. The objective of the study was to determine the prevalence of HIV and Syphilis in the Indigenous Population and associated factors.
