摘要

Multica rrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) is the most promising technique for high speed data transmission. However, the MC-CDMA signals are characterized by large peak-to-average power ratios (PAPR), which can reduce the system efficiency. In this paper, SLM and PTS techniques are investigated and their performances are co mpared. The performance metric utilized in evaluating PAPR reduction scheme is CCDF of the PAPR of transmitted continuous time signal. With the help of MATLAB simulation it has been found that PTS has better PAPR reduction capability than SLM scheme
