Four Years Surveillance of Antimicrobial Susceptibility in Pseudomonas aeruginosa Nosocomial Isolates from a Central Hospital in Portugal

Background:Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) is one of the leading causes of nosocomial infections. Surveillance of antimicrobial susceptibility of PA clinical isolates has been monitored in this study, since determination of guidelines for empirical regimens and prompts enforcement of infection control measurers are of great importance.
