The Paper Reports on Studies on effect of drag reduction study were conducted in flow through circular conduits with coaxially placed single disc turbulence promo ter using with polyacrylamide (PAA) as additive was chosen as the system o f the study. The study covered range of parameters like effect of disc diameter, flow rate, polyacrylamide concentration. The percentage drag reduction varied between 87 to 97% as the coaxial disc diameter increases from 0.03 m to 0.04 m. The percentage drag reduction of 89 to 93% is observed as the polyacrylamide concentration is varied from 50 to 200ppm. A model was developed for mass transfer data.
