摘要

In this paper we will study the performance of improved variable step-size LMS algorithm over distributed networks when dealing with jump systems and changing noise environments. In jump systems the energy and variance of noise changes suddenly and then gets back to normal afterwards. The conventional VSSLMS algorithm cannot keep pace with these variations, and the performance degrades dramatically. So we propose an i mproved adaptive variable stepsize LMS algorithm to mitigate these performance deficiencies over distributed netw orks that face with jumping and changing noise frequently
