Review Of Attacks And Security Threats As Securing In Wireless Ad Hoc Networks

Security is an essential requirement in mobile ad hoc network (MANETs). Compared to wired networks, MANETs are more vulnerable to security attacks due to the lack of a trusted centralized authority and limited resources. Attacks on ad hoc networks can be classified as passive and active attacks, depending on whether the normal operation of the network is disrupted or not. The study here proposes a theory in this paper based on Hashing as a tool. This scheme can make most of the on demand protocols secure. The stu dy should help in making protocols more robust against attacks and standardize parameters for security in routing protocol
