Community based Approach for Better Software Team Management- A New Methodology for Cost Curtailment

Objectives: To present and showcase the importance of cost estimation and reduction through a novel approach for better team management in software industry. Methods/Statistical Analysis: The cost cutting has been the major focus of the software industry. The cost curtailment solely applies no more just to the software development alone, but involves the various levels of the organization. Hence an efficient methodology needs to be applied at every stage of work that is carried out in the software industry, in order to achieve this goal collectively. The new methodology called community based approach for better team management which in turn helps to improve the productivity and decreases the overall software development cost. Findings: Goals and objectives of proposed approach are presented and this article also presents a brief description on existing approach and their limitations. Application/Improvements: The proposed approach applies to all level of software industries where the man power plays an important role to reduce the cost of software production.
