Chemical composition of semi-regular variable giants. II.

Aims. The aim of this work was to derive theelemental abundances in four stars classified as semiregular variablesof the type``d'' (SRd). These stars should presumably belongto the Galactic halo population. Methods. Elemental abundances have been derived fromboth local thermodynamical equilibrium (LTE) and non-localthermodynamical equilibrium (NLTE) analyses, applied to high-resolution()spectra obtained with the CFHT ESPaDOnS spectrograph. Results. We have derived the abundances of 29chemical elements in V463Her,V894Her, CWCVn, andMSHya, and arrived at the following conclusions. Conclusions. The stars of our programme have achemical composition that does not agree with their presumable statusas metal-deficient halo giants. All studied SRd giants haverelative-to-solar elemental abundances typical of the thick/thinGalactic disc stars. Key words: stars: variables: general -stars: abundances
