The purpose of this study was to design and build a web-based information system for SMA N 01 Uatulari East Timor. Systems development methods in the preparation of this thesis using SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) The main characteristic of this method is using use case driven and iterative approach to software development cycle. In designing the system using the proposed design procedure includes use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, and sequence diagrams, which resulted in a better system. The process is broken down into several sections designed to establish the system components into a single unit. Academic information system conducted a web-based constructed or implemented because it allows students, teachers, and principals in seeing the value of data reports student, teacher data, timetable, and subjects in SMAN 01 Uatulari East Timor. This is to reduce the error rate when done manually. Suggestions for further design can be implemented by designing wake academic information system based on mobile programming using operating system is Android.
