Use of Silver Diamine Fluoride for Dental Caries Management in Children and Adolescents, Including Those With Special Health Care Needs

This manuscript presents evidencebased guidance on the use of 38% silverdiamine ? uoride (SDF) for dental cariesmanagement in children and adolescents,including those with special health careneeds. A guideline workgroup formedby the American Academy of PediatricDentistry developed guidance and anevidence-based recommendation regarding the application of 38% SDF to arrestcavitated caries lesions in primary teeth.
