On functions derived from regularly varying functions

摘要

A generalization of Karamata's theorem on integrals of regularly varying functions is proved. Using Laplace-Stieltjes transforms it is shown that any regularly varying function with exponent ?± (?± + 1 a?‰ N) is asymptotic to another regularly varying function all of whose derivations are regularly varying.
