SCENARIOS OF REGIONAL POWER SYSTEM EXPANSION FROM SOUTHERN OF BIHOR COUNTY BASED ON THE EXPLOITATION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES

The paper relates to the analysis of thelocal RES potential for the installation of powerplants to allow for the extension of the regional powersystem for a site located in the southern part of theBihor county, in the perimeter and the vicinity of thecities of Va?c?u, Nucet and ?tei. There are highlightedaspects of the current state of regional valorisation ofrenewable energy resources and possibilities forinterconnection and connection to the Power System(PWS), for the optimal supply of electricity toconsumers. A comparative analysis of the advantagesand impediments generated by the implementation oflocal energy projects based on RES, focusingespecially on wind energy, is developed andpresented. At the end of the paper are presented therecommendations regarding the opportunity of usingthe RES and conclusions resulting from the studyunderlying that work.
