Efficient Fast Object-Tracking Scheme Based on Motion-vector-located Pattern Match

In the process of object tracking, the majorproblem is how to mark the tracking box of the object.Moreover, multi-objects tracking is also difficult. This paperproposed and efficient fast object-tracking scheme based onmotion-vector-located pattern match, which adopts motionvector of Mpeg2 to mark the moving targets in static videoin order to mark and locate the targets automatically andquickly. Then, extract multi-dimensional characteristicsfrom the initial targets taken by motion vector and make themodel. Then accurately identifies the particles of largerweight and combines with inertia factor of velocity throughmatching the original data and the observations of particlefilter. The matching of the characteristics of the new particleand the original one is more accurate and faster because ofadopting the method of pattern classifying. The experimentsshow that the algorithm had good tracking performanceand strong robustness.
