This paper presents a framework of querytranslation based on ontology between different queryinterfaces (forms), which will translate the queries intosuitable formats, hiding the differences from underlyingsources, and enabling users to access data sourcesconveniently. Firstly, constructing domain ontology conceptmodel (DOCM), then, finding out predicate matchingrelationships between source form and target forms basedon DOCM, lastly, analyzing query rewrite strategy whichcontains four type rewriters to construct automatically a setof constraint mapping rules so that the system can use theuser-provided input values to fill out the appropriate formfields of different web database forms. Experiment resultsshow that this method is feasible and effective.
