A Novel Approach of Secret Hiding in Webpage by Bit Grouping Technology

Web pages are used popularly and frequentlytoday because the message in the pages can be fast spreadingall over the world in real-time. A kind of new approach isconstructed for the webpage information hiding. The hidingdata is composed of the length of secret, the checksum andthe secret data. The secret message is required formodification using forward transform technology beforehiding. A kind of grouping 5-bit scheme and algorithm areproposed to convert the hiding data into some invisiblecharacters. It can hide 10 bits in each end tag of page line. Inthe extracting process, the message is recomposed as thecoupling relationship. The hiding process and algorithms arestated in detail. The experiments are implemented with somewell-known homepages of portal websites. The results showthat the new approach can not only keep the hiding effects,but also increase the hiding capacity largely. It will besuitable for large-scale message transmission through theInternet.
