摘要

The arable land quality assessment system isdeveloped with Visual C++ coupled with ArcGIS engine.The system can provide basic functions of geographicinformation system, for example, map browsing, overlayanalysis, and spatial interpolation. The program has bothsingle-factor evaluation module and comprehensiveevaluation module, which evaluate the land quality by fieldsampling data and other relevant information. In this paper,Xiping county in Henan province (China) is chosen as asample area, fuzzy evaluation method and analytichierarchy process are used to determine the membershipfunction and the weight of evaluation factors respectively.Field sampling data, land use, soil type and administrativemap are used as the supporting data. Using this program,the spatial distribution and areas of three level of farmlandquality are obtained.
