Influence of Spatial Geography From Urban Agglomeration Effect on the Development of Port

An analytical method for influence of urban effect on development of port based on entropy weight TOPSIS method is proposed, with the purpose of improving the rationality of analysis for influence of urban effect on development of port. Firstly, establish the index system of influence on the development of port consisting of gross regional production, quay length and other indexes to obtain the quantitative indexes for port and urban development. Secondly, put forward a competitiveness evaluation model of port-city based on entropy weight TOPSIS method to realize the qualitative analysis of influence of urban effect on the development of port. Finally, through example verification, analyze the influence factors of urban effect on the development of port to predict and guide the tendency of urban effect on the development of port.
