Overview of Research on Thermal Insulation of Wall of Timber-Structure Buildings

Thermal-insulating technology of external wall and new energy-saving materials are the major ways to realize energy conservation. The Paper studies the thermal-insulating properties of wall of timber-structure building. First, the Paper briefly introduces development course of building wall and points out energy conservation is the important direction for the development of building wall, secondly, the Paper states the present development status of light timber-structure wall and gives domestic and foreign researches and calculation process of the heat transfer value of light timber-structure wall; finally, the paper introduces the researches on environmentally-friendly timber wall materials and points out the unique advantages.
