Introduction to Research on Grass Compression Test

The level of development of animal husbandry is an important symbol of a country agriculture development level now. But the grass materials are loose and the volume is very big, moreover the perishable and seasonal forage makes the budget, transportion and sustainable supply extremely difficult, hay forage compression research offers a good solution to this problem. Experimental study on compression of materials at home and abroad on the briquetting grass have already done for nearly 70 years, and have achieved a lot of results. This paper systematically summarizes the present situation and the main advances for grass materials compression testing and rheological researches at home and abroad. And on this basis, some suggestions are given on the grass materials compression test research. ?
