Theseproceedingscompriseselected,editedpapersthatwerepresentedatthe13thSOUTHEASTASIANCONGRESSOFMEDICALPHYSICSwiththethemeof"Improvingthequalityofhumanhealththroughphysics",heldinYogyakarta,Indonesia,10-12December2015.ItwashostedbySunanKalijagaStateIslamicUniversity(UINSunanKalijaga),InstitutTeknologiBandung(ITB)andUniversityofIndonesia(UI)inassociationwiththeSouthEastAsiaFederationofOrganizationsforMedicalPhysics(SEAFOMP).YogyakartawastheancientcapitalofDaerahIstimewaYogyakarta.ItisfamousfortheUNESCOworldheritagesiteofBorobudurtemple.Thistemplewasbuiltinthe9thcenturyduringthereignoftheSailendraDynasty.ThetemplewasdesignedintheJavaneseBuddhistarchitecturalstyle.ThemonumentwasrestoredbytheIndonesiangovernmentwithUNESCO'shelpin1975and1982.Thecongressattractedabout241participantsfrom13countries.Twelveinvitedspeakersdeliverednineplenarylecturesaswellasfourpre-congressworkshops.Atotalof86oraland65posterpresentationsweregiven.Avarietyoftopicswerediscussed,rangingfromthemostadvancedtopicssuchasprotontherapy,image-guidedradiotherapy,functionalMRItothemoreconventionalonessuchasdosedistribution,simulation,dosimetry,qualityassurance,etc.Inthisproceedingspapersarepublishedunderfivecategories,namelytherapeutics,diagnostics,nuclearmedicine,biomedicalengineeringandbiophysics...
