Wefocusonunderstandingthebeamingofgravitationalradiationfromgammaraybursts(GRBs)byapproximatingGRBsaslinearlyacceleratedpointmasses.Foracceleratedpointmasses,itisknownthatgravitationalradiationisbeamedisotropiclyathighspeeds,andbeamedalongthepolaraxisatlowspeeds.Asidefromthisknowledge,therehasbeenverylittleworkdoneonbeamingofgravitationalradiationfromGRBs,andtheimpactbeamingcouldhaveongravitationalwave(GW)detection.Wedeterminethefollowing:(1)theobservationangleatwhichthemostpowerisemittedasafunctionofspeed,(2)themaximumratioofpowerradiatedawayasafunctionofspeed,and(3)theangulardistributionofpowerratiosatrelativisticandnon-relativisticspeeds.AdditionallythedependenceofthebeamingofGWradiationonspeedisessentiallytheoppositeofthebeamingofelectromagnetic(EM)radiationfromGRBs.SoweinvestigatewhythisisthecasebycalculatingtheangularEMradiationdistributionfromalinearelectricquadrupole,andcomparethisdistributiontotheangulargravitationalradiationdistributionfromaGRB...
