TotalSolarEclipse(TSE)isararenaturaleventinwhichthepositionsofSun,Moon,andEarthareperfectlyaligned.Inthepastbyusingthisphenomenon,manyresearcheshavebeendonetounderstandcharacteristicofthecorona.InthispaperwecarriedoutthestudyofTSEwhichcrossedoverIndonesiafromWesttoEaston9thMarch2016.WeobservedTSEwhichoccuredinPalembang(2.9883°S104.7513°E),Indonesia.TheaimofthisresearchistounderstandtheeffectofmooncratersontheappearanceofsolarcoronaandidentificationofsolaractiveregionsduringTSE.ThisresearchwasdoneusingCanonSX170IScamerawithND5sun-filter.Althoughtheskywascloudyduringthetotalityofthephase,coronalvideowasstilltaken.Cameraalsotooksolarimagesofpartialeclipsephase.Coronalimagesforeveryframewerethenextractedfromthevideo.ImageprocessingofcoronalimageswasdoneusingRegiStaxandPhotoScapefreewares.Tostudysolarcorona,imagesfromVirtualMoonAtlas,HinodeXRT,andSOHO-LASCOwerecomparedwiththeresultoforientedcoronalimage.Widerandmanymoremooncraterswerefoundhavingpositivecorrelationwiththebrightereffectonsolarcoronaasshownatwestwardcoronalstreamer.ThosecratersarerepresentedbyBel'kovichcrater,thebiggestone.Wealsofoundthatonlytheeastwardcoronalstreamerwascorrelatedwithactiveregion,sunspotnumber12519,frombehindsolarlimb...
