Inradiotherapy,medicallinearaccelerator(Linac)isthekeysystemusedforradiationtreatmentsdelivery.Although,recommissioningwasrecommendedaftermajormodificationofthemachinebyAAPMTG53,butitmightnotbepracticalinradiotherapycenterwithheavyworkloads.Themainpurposeofthisstudywastocomparephotonbeamphysicaldatabetweeninitialcommissioningandrecommissioningof6MVElektaPreciselinac.Theparametersforcomparingwerethepercentagedepthdose(PDD)andbeamprofiles.TheclinicalcommissioningtestcasesfollowedIAEA-TECDOC-1583wereplannedonREF91230IMRTDoseVerificationPhantombyPhilips'Pinnacletreatmentplanningsystem.TheDelta4PTwasusedfordosedistributionverificationwith90%passingcriteriaofthegammaindex(3%/3mm).OurresultsrevealedthatthePDDsandbeamprofilesagreedwithinatolerancelimitrecommendedbyTRS430.Mostofthepointdosesanddosedistributionverificationpassedtheacceptancecriteria.Thisstudyshowedtheconsistencyofphotonbeamphysicaldataafterrecommissioningprocess.Therewasagoodagreementbetweeninitialcommissioningandrecommissioningwithinatolerancelimit,demonstratedthatthefullrecommissioningprocessmightnotberequired.However,inthecomplextreatmentplanninggeometry,theinitialdatashouldbeappliedwithgreatcaution...
