摘要

The Journal of Orthopaedics, Trauma and Rehabilitation (JOTR) is a continuation of The Hong Kong Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery (HKJOS), which has been published since 1997 under the leadership of Dr Stephen W.C. Wu as the Editor-in-Chief. The inception of HKJOS occurred during the Presidency of Dr P.Y. Lau of The Hong Kong Orthopaedic Association (HKOA). He proposed this idea at a HKOA council meeting and received unanimous support. Professor Jack C.Y. Cheng then led a small group to explore its feasibility and got support from The Hong Kong College of Orthopaedic Surgeons (HKCOS) with Professor K.M. Chan as the President. HKJOS was run by the Editorial Board and governed by the Board of Trustees that was composed of four members, with two each from the HKCOS and HKOA.
