The authors regret that in our review an error occurred in the presentation of table 1 ‘Overview of authorized regenerative medicine products’. The flags representing the countries and nation-unions to which products have been approved for market application, are presented in an incorrect order. The correct order should be as follows: Japan, the European Union (EU), and the United States of America (USA). The authors sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
