Relation between luminous efficiency function and color matching functions

References(9) Color matching functions and luminous efficiency functions by flicker photometry for a 2° foveal field, were measured for two observers at a retinal illuminance of 100 trolands. The synthetic luminous efficiency function determined as a linear combination of color matching functions was compared with the measured one for a given observer. Taking into account the uncertainties of measurements, the synthetic functions were in good agreement with the measured one.
