Ludwig’s angina is a rare deep soft tissue infectionthat occurs on the floor of the mouth underneath theTongue. This bacterial infection often occurs after atooth abscess. Which is a collection of pus in thecenter of a tooth. It can also follow other mouthinfection or injuries.Ludwig’s angina is also known as angina Ludwig’s,angina maligna or morbus strangularis because ofthe inflammation it causes in the floor of the mouthCausing a strangulating feeling like angina pectorisor chort pains .
