In our experiments we aimed to structure the graphite oxide film by converting it locally into graphene by laser irradiation. An effect of ambient atmosphere on properties of the reduced gra-phene was also investigated. The reduction results were evaluated by measurements of electrical re-sistance and using Raman spectroscopy. The defect line at 1350 cm-1 remained still active in Raman spectra indicating disorder at edges of graphene sheets. A few-layer graphene can be locally formed in the film by direct laser writing, however stitching graphene flakes together remains as a problem that could be solved by incorporation of special organic molecules.
