摘要

In this study, we developed nanofiber composite membrane of cellulose acetate and collagen via electrospinning. Several variations on electrospinning process such as time, flow rate and collector optimizations have been done. The result showed that the optimum conditions were reached with flow rate at 0.05 μL/h using a drum or cylinder-shaped collector and optimum time for membrane formation for 3 h. The results of the CA-collagen membrane performed good results with the modulus young 1,237 x10-5 GPa. The entire membrane has elongation according to human skin so it can be used as a candidate for wound dressing. The MTT assay reveals that all membrane was non-toxic with viability all over 80%.
