Minimum Power Losses Point Tracking(MPLPT) of variable loaded induction motor isgenerally obtained using search technique, the motoris subjected to many step changes of voltage which isundesirable. This paper presents a new technique forenergy saving of AC voltage controller induction motordrive using artificial neural networks (ANN) andadaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) as twotypes of Soft Computing (SC) techniques.The proposed (ANN) and (ANFIS) controllers aretrained off-line to identify the optimum firing based onmotor load torque and previous firing angle to harnessthe drive maximum efficiency. The new approachesindicate accuracy, robustness and effectiveness ofefficient energy utilization of AC Voltage ControllerFed Induction Motor Drive.. Also in the proposedmethod, minimum time is achieved for the bestoperating point convergence which means more savingin wasted energy.
