In this paper, an Adaptive Receiver Power Routing (ARPR) protocol technique for Mobile Ad Hoc wireless network is proposed. The adaptive receiver power routing (ARPR) protocol evaluates the effect of environment, and signal path loss on a mobile ad hoc wireless network quality of service (QoS) and throughput performance. The proposed technique is incorporated into Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) protocol. Mathematical analysis supported by computer simulations is used to validate the scalability of the proposed technique.
