We are grateful for the opportunity to respond to commentsfrom our colleagues at the American Diabetes Association(ADA) and Eli Lilly regarding the results of our insulin concentration measurements published in the December onlinefirst issue of this journal. We are in complete agreement thatour preliminary findings do warrant further investigation as itis clearly in the interests of people with diabetes worldwide tohave clarity in relation to this topic.
