There was an error in the name of a bacterial species used in Fig. 4 C . The correct species used in this figure was Xanthomonas campestris and not Xanthomonas citri . Therefore, all instances of Xc stand for Xanthomonas campestris . Also, Xanthomas citri and X. citri in the text should be replaced with Xanthomonas campestris and X. campestris , respectively. This error does not affect the results or conclusions of this work.
