BiometryandgrowthcohortsofcommonepifaunacollectedmonthlywithasledgeforatwoyearperiodwasstudiedontheCilicianshelfoftheMediterraneanSea.Thedimorphismsinthelength-width-weightrelationshipswereobservedfortheepibenticfaunaduepresumablytothesexeswhereasbiometricallydimorphicrelationshipwasnotstructuredforthecommonflatfishes.MaximumnumberofgrowthcohortschangedbetweenC2(Buglossidiumluteum)andC4(Arnoglossuslaterna)fortheflatfishes.Ninecohortscoexistedforahermitcrab,acrustaceanspecies.Threemuricid(Mollusca)specieswereclassifiedwithmaximumnumberofcohortuptoC2andthenassariidgastropodsaswell.ALesepsianbivalve,Pinctadaradiatadisplayedtwogrowthcohorts,andthreecohortsbasedondiscthicknessofaseastar(Astropectenirregularis).
