Dear Editor,I read with great interest the article entitled ‘‘There is anassociation between disease location and gestational age atbirth in newborns submitted to surgery due to necrotizingenterocolitis'', by Feldens et al., published in the Journal ofPediatrics,1 and we have observed surgical descriptions thatcorroborate those found in that study regarding the differentlocations of necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC).
